Terminology in TB Services

The Stop-TB Partnership is developing a new language guide for tuberculosis services in response to an article published in the June issue of the International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease. The article, “Language in tuberculosis services: can we change to patient-centered terminology and stop the paradigm of blaming the patients?“, drew attention to the negative terms that are currently part of the language of TB services.
