Seeing the World as a Network – Alexis Safari

by on December 5, 2012

When I sent the first “Seeing the World as a Network” message, the first person to respond was Alexis Safari. Alexis works with MEASURE Evaluation as the Country Finance and Operations Manager in the Futures office in Kigali, Rwanda. Before joining MEASURE Evaluation in 2008, he worked for the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and for the European Union during the Rwanda emergency and reconstruction. He studied International finance and banking at the Kigali Institute of Science Technology and Management.

Alexis lives in Kigali with his wife and three children (two daughters, 7 and 5 years; and a son, 3 months). At an early age, Alexis lost both parents and key family members in the Rwanda war and genocide. He is committed to working for development and improvements in the lives of others. In his free time, he likes to exchange ideas with others. Maybe that explains why he was so quick to respond to my attempt to reach out to everyone in the Project.

“Seeing the World as a Network” messages appear simultaneously on Evaluate, the MEASURE Evaluation blog. Let’s continue conversations there. I will be monitoring the blog for comments to share in my weekly message.
