PHFI Announces a Virtual Course on M&E of Health Programs

The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is launching a new virtual certificate course on Monitoring and Evaluation of Health Programs at the end of January 2014. The course, which will be conducted in English, is designed to allow professionals develop core competencies required to design and implement monitoring and evaluation activities in public health programs.

The course is designed as a three-month certificate program. It is an interactive distance learning, computer-based program, which includes online lectures and comprehensive list of reference materials. The sessions will be delivered in synchronous and asynchronous modes. The curriculum will cover the basics of monitoring and evaluation, M&E plans, frameworks and indicators, gender integration, information sources and systems, HMN and PRISM tools, data demand and use, and evaluation designs.
