Seeing the World as a Network – Nena do Nascimento

by on April 7, 2014

Nena in GhanaNena do Nascimento works on MEASURE Evaluation with Futures Group in Washington, DC. She was born in Paris to a Brazilian father and American mother, grew up in Chicago and Switzerland, attended college in Canada (McGill University) and graduate school in public policy in Maryland, and got married in Berkeley, California. Between college and graduate school, in 2007, she spent three months in Accra, Ghana interning at the USAID/West Africa Trade and Investment Office. (The photo is from that time.) She joined Futures and MEASURE Evaluation in 2012.

With a Brazilian father, Nena speaks Portuguese, making her language skill a good match for OVC and mHealth project activities in Mozambique.

Nena’s husband works for JSI but not MEASURE Evaluation. They share a love of cooking (and eating), traveling, and live music. And now, with a little help from Google Translate: obrigado, merci, and thank you, Nena, for your work on the Project.
