Based on the experiences of three East African countries—Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya—the book outlines each country’s experience in building and sustaining multistakeholder coalitions to drive reforms in the health sector. The authors show that coalitions have powerful potential to bring important health system benefits to governments and the citizens they serve.
